Contact Us With Any Questions You May Have

Appointments

Our practice operates on a computerised appointment system. We try to avoid delay if possible. Our staff will advise when a delay is likely to happen. Urgent medical problems will always be seen on the day of request, but, unfortunately, we are not always able to guarantee you will be able to see your usual GP. Consultations are by appointments. Walk-in patients may be accepted depending upon the availability of a doctor.

Waiting Times

To enable us to have more control over your waiting times, please advise the staff at the time of booking the type of consultation you require. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify the surgery as soon as possible so that we can offer that appointment to another patient. Our friendly staff will be able to answer all your enquiries. It is important to make sure that we have your current contact details on file. Our practice is a no-tolerance zone and we ask that you treat all members of our staff and doctors with respect and courtesy.

House Calls

Home visits are available upon request. Please contact the surgery as early as possible so the doctor may plan a suitable time. Fees are applicable

After Hours

Our practice provides 24-hour care for patients through a link to our after-hours service provider. To ensure continuing patient care, all details of the visit are forwarded to the practice.

Please call 137425 if you require this service.

Recall

Our recall/reminder system provides preventive care for our patients. Please advise The Doctor if you do not wish to participate.

Schedule of Fees

The Doctors at Capri Medical  are PRIVATE billing* contractors.  Below are the standard prices for consults but, of course, additional procedures will vary in price. A discount fee is charged for Health Care / Concession card holders.

For your convenience, all rebates are available on the day of the visit through our Easyclaim on-site. 

 We accept EFTPOS, credit card and cash.

 a surcharge applies to all electronic banking transactions.


The Doctors offer Bulk Billing to children up to 16 years, care plans & health assessments only.


Weekdays Standard Consult Fees

Standard Consult Fee  —$90.00
Rebate — $41.40

Concession fee $80.00

Age Pension $70.00


Long Consult Fee — $135.00
Rebate — $79.70


Prolonged Consult Fee — $170.00
Rebate — $117.40


Full Skin Cancer Check  — $105.00

Rebate — $41.20 

Telephone Prescriptions or referrals  private fee of $25 with no medicare rebate available


Capri Medical  is a a privately owned General Practice that offers quality care to our patients.

In order to enable us to continue this without compromising our exceptional care we will be increasing some of our fees from November 6, 2023
